Pete has lived and practiced law in Fort Collins, Colorado for over 32 years (his first 11 years of practice before that were in Indiana). He is married, has two grown children living in Fort Collins and is blessed with five grandchildren.

Pete has been active in his community and in bar association matters. He has served as President of the Larimer County Bar Association, and as a Member of the Council of the Trust & Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association and as Chair of its Statutory Revisions Committee. Rikke Liska focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and elder law.
Rikke will visit with you about estate planning for the first time for free to discuss your situation Rikke offers hourly charge consultations in the areas of prenuptial agreements, Medicaid Long Term Care benefits planning, small estate administration and probate administration, Guardianships, and Conservatorships.

Rikke grew up in Loveland, Colorado and attended Colorado State University, where she received her bachelor degree in speech communication in 2007. Rikke received her J.D. in 2011 from Arizona State University with the highest pro bono distinction. During law school, Rikke volunteered often, teaching a high school class, developing a mock trial program for the local high school, and was a founding member of the Law Journal for Social Justice. After law school, Rikke returned to Fort Collins and interned with the Honorable Judge Field and Magistrate Jostad.

Rikke is a member of the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law sections of the Colorado Bar Association, and the Trusts and Estates section of the Larimer County Bar Association. She also participates on the Larimer County Bar Association executive board. Rikke enjoys teaching and presents to attorneys and community members about various legal topics regularly.

Rikke was selected as a Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers for 2019. She was honored as a 2016 Colorado Woman of Influence. Rikke is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training (COBALT) class of 2019.

In Rikke’s spare time she dances with Canyon Concert Ballet. She enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and cat.
